During September we were lucky enough to have not one but two winning teams visit the school. The first was U12 mixed team from Dunmanway Rowing club who won the Irish Coastal Rowing Championships held in Farran in July. The winning team included one of our 5th class pupils. The team and their coaches spoke about the sport of rowing and all about Dunmanway Rowing club. Well done to all involved and thank you for visiting us.
Our second winning team was the Skibbereen Area u12 Aldi Community Games Team who own the All-Ireland Community Games Final. One of our 6th class pupils was a member of the team. Congratulations to all involved and thank you for visiting our school.
