This week all pupils took part in Food Dudes Week. During the week we had lots of delicious fruit and vegetables delivered including apple and tomato, satsuma and cucumber, banana and carrot and blueberries and peppers. Everyone enjoyed having fresh fruit and vegetables every day.
We were delighted to be asked again this year to take part in a singing workshop as part of the Drimoleague Singing Festival. The children attended a three day workshop led by Susan Mc Manamon and organised by the Drimoleague Singing Festival Committee. During the workshops the children learned a variety of different songs which they will perform on Sunday night at the closing concert. We would like to thank Susan for preparing the children and to the festival committee for the invitation.
Sixth Class created a podcast, Chess Piece Oracles, for the Ficheall competition. They brought the game to life by interviewing chess pieces about their roles and strategies. From the Queen’s power to the Pawn’s perspective, each piece had a story to tell.
